Financial Reporting Accountant

On behalf of a business based just south of Reading I am recruiting for a permanent financial accountant to join their supportive and growing finance team.

Client Details

My client is based just south of Reading, they are close to all major transport links and have plenty of parking. They have modern offices with the flexibility to work from home.

Description

The successful applicant for this permanent role will be responsible for the following key tasks:

• Assist with the Monthly Financial Close process
• Monthly & Quarterly reporting to group
• Supporting the internal and external audit
• Assist with the production of statutory accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cash flow forecasting and reporting
• Assisting with ad hoc UK projects
• Review of VAT and Tax returns & compliance

Profile

To be considered for this permanent role you must posses the following:

• Be actively studying towards the middle stages of ACCA or CIMA
• Be educated to a degree level in a numerical subject or equivalent
• Exposure to the majority of the above tasks
• Have a good working knowledge of accounting processes and reporting
• Have a intermediate level of Excel (vlook-ups, Pivot tables)
