1 day a week - Investment Accountant / Bookkeeper

The candidate will be solely responsible for accurate and appropriate recording and reporting of all financial transactions within the firm and across the it's investment portfolios.

Client Details

Our client is an independent private investment manager based in Mayfair, primarily investing in international private equity funds.

Description

• 80 % Investment Accounting
• To manage the company's portfolio of investment, to record the investment activities, to analyze the possible variances and to make the necessary entries in the journals by interacting with the portfolio managers
• To take an active part in preparing the yearly budget for investment fee and assist in the timely and accurate reporting of all the transactions related to investment

• 20% Bookkeeping
• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations for the company's office, bookkeeping, and handling all financial related queries
• Production of the company's management accounts
• Advise manager on of any outstanding issues
• Maintain a full and accurate audit trail

Profile

The successful candidate will display the following qualities:

• A proven and qualifiable familiarity in investment accounting
• Studying towards ACA / CIMA / ACCA or QBE
• Strong knowledge of Excel:
• Pivot tables / V-Lookups - Necessary
• VBA's / Macros - Desirable
• Independent worker and ability to work in a small team
• Proven familiarity with foreign exchange accounting

Job Offer

• Adaptable working hours (8 hour working week) - spread across 1-2 days of your choice.
• £600 - £760 a month for 4 days work - £30,000 - £45,000 Full time equivalent salary
