The role is a mix of analysis and partnering with the sales team.

Description

Key responsibilities in the Commercial Finance Analyst role include:

• Challenge, assist and partner with the Commercial team to ensure their activity is sustainable and aligned with the expectations of the business

• Co-ordinate and develop the monthly sales reporting pack to be delivered to the Executive committee and Senior Management team

• Develop, maintain and report from our financial planning management system to allow for appropriate steering of our sales activity

• Review Customer Profitability and pricing decisions, both at inception and in life. Challenging commercial, where required, against target performance

• Build and maintain effective working and influencing relationships throughout the business, and across the broader Group

• Other ad-hoc reporting as required by the business.

Profile

• Qualified Accountant or equivalent with commercial experience in a dynamic organisation

• Excellent knowledge of pricing and/or analysis

• Analytical and objective approach to problem solving to support Business Strategy

• Ability to convert complex financials into easily understandable key point summaries

• Excellent data manipulation and modelling skills

• Ability to deal with and present to staff at all levels

• Strong team ethic.

Job Offer

Package of £40,000 - £50,000 plus excellent bonus, pension, healthcare and flexible working
