Description
Execution of operational, financial control and compliance audits from planning through to reporting and issue remediation, reporting and presenting to key stakeholders and influencing the business on decision making
Preparation of strategic reporting, detailed audit reports, development and weighing up the control weaknesses, aiding to mitigate risk / improve processes
Continuous improvement of the internal audit methodology
Development of the audit plans in place
Partnering with the business / supporting workshops as and when required
Supporting and undertaking the advisory of the business as required, to improve risk and control awareness
Profile
The successful candidate will hold a recognised accountancy or auditing qualification / near qualification will continue to be supported
Broad understanding around risk, compliance and difficulties faced by the business and achievable ways in managing and mitigating those risks
Familiar working within a team, with the ability to prioritise work /deliverables and commitments to achieve timely and cost beneficial outcomes
Problem solver
Comfortable working under pressure
Capable of influencing stakeholders to mitigate risks and meet control requirements
Willing to study for an auditing qualification (if the candidate is not from an accounting/ auditing background).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and some experience of working directly with senior stakeholders.
Job Offer
£55,000 - £62,500 ( depending on experience) - client may be flexible in some cases for the right candidate
15% bonus (paid out the last 4 years)
