Page Personnel is working in partnership with a leading leisure company in Liverpool to recruit a part qualified Management Accountant to join their growing accountancy team.

Following a recent promotion and a period of growth, this exciting business is recruiting an opportunity for a Management Accountant in a pivotal role that will add value to the business.

Description

As Management Accountant, reporting into a Financial Controller, your main duties are:

• Preparing management accounts including profit and loss reports, balance sheet and cash flow
• Month end reconciliations
• Posting accruals and prepayments
• Managing the cash and banking process
• Bank reconciliations
• Monthly variance analysis, including investigations of root causes
• Maintaining the fixed asset register

Profile

The successful applicant must have the following skills and experience:

• Significant exposure to the management accounts process and able to produce a full set of management accounts
• Part qualified and actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA
• Strong reporting writing and Excel skills
• Able to manipulate data and use to help produce meaningful reports
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
