Business Analyst

Full time permanent Business Analyst role for an SME based in Watford, Hertfordshire. Varied and progressive role paying up to £35,000

Role will involve exposure into wider accounting and the opportunity to make the position your own and use your Analytical and Excel skills.

Client Details

My client are an SME based in the heart of Watford who are within the Retail industry. They have a growing product based and sell their products all over the UK and are looking to expand both their product base and Finance team. They are seeking a Business Analyst to join them on a permanent basis to support your Finance Manager with improving performance across each brand, both financially and operationally. You will be offered great progression, study support and exposure.

Description

• Reporting into a hands on Commercial Manager
• Assisting in driving business performance across multiple brands
• Supporting your manager in improving performance
• Analysis, reporting
• Reporting commercial analytics to your Manager and writing reports to help achieve cost savings
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting
• Identifying commercial risks
• Running reports and performing analysis to identify gaps in actual sales and forecast v budget

Profile

• Ideally a Part Qualified candidate (ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience in an Analyst based role
• Analytically minded candidate
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
• Commercially aware person who is confident liaising with stakeholders
• Proficient in SAP is highly advantageous
• Problem solving skills
• Living local to Watford
