Paraplanner/ Senior Paraplanner
Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a Wealth Management practice based in Leeds. This role would suit full time but part time may be considered for highly experienced and qualified applicants.
Main Duties:
The key purpose of the Paraplanner role will be to provide bespoke technical support to a team of successful IFAs who have long standing loyal relationships with both private and commercial entities.
You will examine existing investment and pension arrangements, assess risk profiles and research the market to create technical bespoke recommendations on wealth portfolios. You will create professional suitability reports and letters from scratch tailoring each to the clients’ own circumstances and needs, therefore an excellent grasp of the English language is essential. Advice will incorporate whole of market pensions, investments and protection products.
You will be involved in cash flow modelling and will ideally be comfortable using Voyant, FE Analytics and financial planning CRMs.
In return for experience and hard work, an excellent salary will be on offer which will be commensurate with experience, qualifications and performance at interview. Please note that the top end of the salary bracket would only be considered for highly experienced Level 6 qualified Paraplanners.
Key Skills:
Previous experience providing technical paraplanning support to IFAs is essential as are excellent communication skills, verbal and numerical ability and a keen eye for detail. Candidates must be minimum part qualified and have a desire to work towards Chartered status, with excellent knowledge of pensions, investments and protection.
