USD FUND - Finance VPFinance VP of shanghai office, in future might cover Fund Finane and Portfolio ManagementClient DetailsLeading Fund focus on TMTDescriptionCountry responsibility for monthly management, financial and regulatory reportingManagement Reporting covers the monthly analysis of business performance and expense analysis, and response to ad-hoc analysis requests and supporting the annual budget process.Financial Control and reporting covers the monthly financial process and close, corporate tax and indirect tax, regulatory capital management and reporting and other locally driven reports. Role involves liaising with external advisors (outsourced accounting firm, auditor, tax consultants);
and preparation of the annual accounts.Collaboration with APAC and Group Finance and escalation of issues in respect of financial control, tax, treasury, regulatory and statutory reporting, finance operations and staffTax and Treasury: To be at the forefront of our business and corporate initiatives in China to assess and manage the tax and treasury matters in consultation with Group Tax and Group Treasury so as to drive efficient and effective use of capital and desirable tax outcome for Company.Finance Operations: Working closely with outsourced service providers and be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, fee billing, balance sheet reconciliations. Where activities are outsourced, manage the service level of outsourced service providers and review their deliverables. ProfileApproximately 6-8 years overall experience in related capacity preferredUndergraduate degree (Accounting/ Finance preferred) or an equivalent combination of training and experience.Professional Certification (CICPA or CMA) preferred.Knowledge of Chinese GAAP, IFRS, internal controls, general ledger account analysis and reconciliation.Solid experience with China's tax rulesCandidate must have strong written and oral communication skills in English in addition to ChineseExperience with Concur and NetSuite a plusMulti-national operating company experience a plusSelf-starter that is well organized with close attention to detailExperience with general ledger packages and related operating systemsProficient in using Microsoft Excel and its associated features and functions (pivot tables, vlookup, macros, etc.), and the ability to learn new software quicklyJob OfferHuge potential about the Fund and this roleCompetitive packageTo apply online please click the "Apply" button below.
