Job description
Carrefour Global Sourcing operates with Hyperion as its Finance main application that delivers global financial consolidation, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
Within Finance department, we are looking for a Financial System Administrator to maintain the system and ensure that the data is accurate, loaded, and prepared in a timely manner. The candidate is the key player in financial reporting and modeling, and contributor to financial analysis.
The administrator will also play a key role in the evolution of the system, following the company objective to further digitalize and simplify its processes. This last activity includes both enhancement of current Hyperion MAS and also the setting of new add-on applications (ex: Jedox, Tableau, ...).
Directly reports to the Finance Controlling Manager.
Main responsibilities
- Manage Hyperion: maintain and ensure that all data are accurate, loaded and prepared as per Financial closing schedule. In charge of modifying/crafting the data architecture, business rules and calculation scripts.
- Liaise with local teams (accounting, HR) to collect and check data
- Team up with analysts to produce, collect and provide financial information for management decisions
- Prepare and support monthly closings, annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Proactively support business teams on various financial analysis and identify improvement areas and solutions
- Continuously seek for areas of improvement: participate in the evolution of Hyperion to integrate new modules (with external consultants), adapt financial modeling, adjust financial processes, optimize processing time, ...
Requirements
- Analytical skills: be able to work with large amount of data: facts, figures, and numbers crunching.
- Communication skills: be able to team up with various teams to explain the financial processes
- Organization skills: time management, rigor, attention to detail, while preparing financial files
- Capacity and willingness to work in project mode
- High proficiency in the usage of Hyperion (Essbase, Planning) or other financial system on controlling module
- Knowledge of relational databases principles is preferable
- Interest on new Cloud applications
- Minimum 4 years working experience in financial reporting or consulting
- Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint
