My client, an established, specialist global manufacturing and distribution group, are currently recruiting for an experienced and commercially focused Chief Accountant to support the FD in all aspects of the financial and commercial operations within the group.
The role is based out of the UK Head Office located in East London and would be responsible for:
- Preparation of UK and overseas financial statements
- Managing/reconciling intercompany transactions
- Providing timely management information to the Board
- VAT returns and PAYE and NI submissions
- International banking procedures
- Currency exposure management
An understanding of all areas of finance including sales and purchase ledger, cash books, stock control and invoicing will be hugely beneficial as you will be required to assist the team as and when required.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Have experience in multinational group companies
- Hold excellent IT skills
