Fed up of the queues at the airport most Monday mornings at stupid o’clock? Getting tired of having to cancel yet another night out with your friends because you’re working away….again! If you’re a practice trained qualified accountant and you fancy using your skills in a financial services company based in Belfast city centre then we should have a chat.
One of the best things about working at this company is the quality of the people. There’s always someone to get a second opinion from and there is a really good focus on training and development. It’s the kind of environment where everyone works hard but there are also regular team social events such as trips to the races, quiz nights and maybe even a cocktail making class. You’ll also have an attractive salary as well as a flexible benefits scheme including things like season ticket loans, health, lifestyle, discretionary bonus etc.
The role itself will involve managing your own set of clients as well as overseeing the work of the five pension funds accountants within your team. As well as making sure their reports are accurate and line with legislative requirements, you’ll also be responsible for coaching and development, appraisals, target setting and HR/recruitment activities. The role is very much Belfast based but you may need to travel very occasionally to GB.
To perform in this role you’ll need (will ideally be) to be a qualified accountant with experience in either an accountancy practice or a third party pensions provider. You’ll also have managed a team and been involved with coaching, appraisals and hiring.
If this sounds like it could be your next career step, then call or WhatsApp me (phone number removed) or hit apply and I’ll be in touch asap
