The Company:
This role is working in an early-stage Family Office with an active Entrepreneur on his growing group of ventures. The core of the group is a corporate finance firm, founded in 2013, which is fast-growing. Since the founding of the firm, the group has grown to proprietary investments including companies in a diverse range of sectors such as commercial cleaning, music publishing, hotels and industrial start-ups.
The Role:
You will be coming in as the second member of the Family Office, acting as Group CFO, working closely with and supporting the Entrepreneur. As such your responsibilities will be focussed on improving the financial reporting systems, financial analysis and subsequent efficiency implementation, in-depth management decision making support and hands-on corporate advice. As such, the role is wide-ranging and challenging with a need to be very detail oriented, analytical and have a sharp sense for commercial decision making.
Responsibilities:
● Work closely with the Entrepreneur, support on all financial aspects of the group
● Work closely with CEO’s of the businesses on accounting structures
● Monitor and report on all investments
● Set and run KPI’s for the group
● Work with the corporate finance professionals in CreditSquare on their KPI’s
● Financial activities as required to ensure the group is as successful as possible
Requirements:
● ACA/ACCA Qualified
● A strong track record of relevant experience preferably within Management Consulting or Corporate Finance
● An entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
● A keen attention to detail
● Adaptable to different tasks
● A strong desire to be involved in building the group and to add value to it
