Redstone Commodity Search are working with a multinational agricultural commodities trading group seeking to hire an Risk Controller for their team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks
  • Production and reporting of both daily and monthly MTM (Mark to Market) evaluation of products and traders.
  • Analyzing the counterparty risk / sanctioned check and proposing to Risk office with all documents for counterparty limits
  • Daily examination and reconciliation of risk reports compiled by company risk system.
  • Frequent interaction with traders, implementation and enforcement of risk limits.
  • Maintains organized record of all positions in company order processing system.
  • Monthly closing of books and preparing month close reports

Key Qualifications / Experience
  • 4-5 years’ experience as a risk analyst or risk controller, preferably within commodity trading company
  • Chartered Accountant qualification
  • Understanding of commodity derivatives (futures and options) and accounting.
  • Excellent team player, able to work with traders in global locations, as well as back and middle office.
  • Good Knowledge of IFRS.
  • Located in Dubai (or happy to relocate)
