Reporting Accountant

Page Personnel are working in partnership with a well known international manufacturing business in Liverpool to reporting a Reporting Accountant to join a successful accountancy function.

They have developed a centre of excellence in Liverpool and have created an opportunity for a part qualified Reporting Accountant in what will be a challenging yet rewarding role.

Description

As Reporting Accountant, you will take responsibility for financial accounting and reporting for a large entity of the business. Key duties will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of the monthly financial accounts and close downs
• Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
• Intercompany reconciliations and recharges
• Managing the fixed asset register, posting depreciation, additions and disposals
• Financial reporting on a monthly basis including performance reports, reconciliations etc
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Capex management

Profile

The successful applicant must have the following:

• Part qualified and actively studying (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
• Advanced Excel skills - v look ups, pivots, data manipulation
• Proactive approach and strong communication skills
• Commercial and business acumen
• Keen to desire to progress
