Our client, an exciting and growing fintech, is seeking an experienced Finance professional to join their team as a Chief Financial Officer.

You will play an important part in helping the business attract and secure investment for future growth whilst becoming a key focal point for the business in the wider industry.

Ideally you will have payments industry experience with an expertise around prepaid and the challenger banking space

The role:

• To provide an input into the strategic vision and direction of the business
• Provide brilliant financial leadership, enabling the best business performance and commercial decision making
• You will influence positively at all levels of the organisation
• You will act as the bridge between the business and industry
• You will evaluate and analyse the impact of investments and funding
• Adding value in the planning and budgeting process for the businesses
• Leveraging relationships with relevant stakeholders and external advisors

The requirements:

• To have successfully funded previous start-ups, ideally within the payments space
• To be motivated and ambitious with a strong track record of achievements working in a similar role
• The ability to operate at both a detailed and strategic level
• You will have strong experience in providing leadership, coaching and development to a team
• Will have previous and ideally strong reporting skills in a budgeting/forecasting environment
• Ideally have a financial qualification
• Experienced in P&L management
• Payments industry knowledge required with a preference of experience in the challenger bank, prepaid space
