Our client is a successful and established business with well-appointed, modern offices based in Alconbury.
Due to an internal promotion, they are now looking for someone to join their small and friendly accounts team in a varied accounts position.
The duties will include;
Reconciliation and posting of sales ledger receipts
Control of cash sales
Completion of daily banking sheets
Credit control and credit risk reports
Preparation of credit reports for new customers
Producing monthly turnover and commission reports
Processing purchase invoices and matching purchase orders
Allocating supplier payments and creating payment list
Handling and resolving invoice queries
Daily and monthly reconciliations
Petty cash and foreign cash management
Stock costings and margin sheet analysis
This position will suit someone who is well-versed in all round accounts and is looking for a challenging but enjoyable position in a business that empowers its staff.
AAT qualified (or equivalent), the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Excel and will also be well-versed in accounting packages, ideally Sage.
