A leading bank based in the UAE is currently looking for a FP&A Manager. This role is responsible to lead a team to prepare, review and update forecast on monthly basis by analyzing the current P&L and balance-sheet trends.
Responsibilities:
Lead and responsible for the automation of financial reports Balance sheet, Profit and Loss, Segmental reports, variance reports, Group RM analysis, year end financial notes and various trend reports.
Regular cost monitoring during the month and highlight the variance to concerned finance team.
Prepare, review and update forecast on monthly basis by analyzing the current P&L and Balance-sheet trends. Communicate and collate inputs from Business Finance for any one-offs to be considered.
Compare the forecast with actuals and budget. Highlight the major variance and understand the reasons. Highlight the potential risks to Budget on timely basis to enable the management to take necessary action.
Requirements:
Minimum 8 - 10 years of post qualification experience
Should have worked in a banking setup in a similar profile (minimum 7 years covering GCC market)
Should have exposure to Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and Budgeting & forecast exercise.
Should have exposure to Business Performance and ALM Function
