A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified ACA Finance Manager to join a Central London Fintech startup company to support the Head of Finance with various accounting and finance functions, gradually building-out the Finance team to take close control of bookkeeping and reporting.
The Finance Manager will play a central role in forging a function that truly helps to drive the growth of the business by continually improving speed of management information and insights, and starting to establish valuable finance business partnering to teams throughout the business.

The Finance Manager will play a central role in forging a function that truly helps to drive the growth of the business by continually improving speed of management information and insights, and starting to establish valuable finance business partnering to teams throughout the business.
Duties:
- Generally maintain a strong financial control environment
- Oversee bookkeeping and month-end accounts
- Review the consolidation of subsidiaries across multiple regions and currencies
- Manage revenue processes, recognition and recurring invoices
- Budget Variance Analysis, and Forecasting
- Cashflow Management
- KPI and key metrics tracking and reporting
- Assist with production of Management Information Packs and Board Packs with commentary
- Manage Payables processes to ensure timely settlement
- Pricing and profitability analysis by product and sales channel
- Liaise with tax advisors and service providers including VAT, R&D and corporate tax
- Responsibility for year end audit
- Assist Head of Finance with ad-hoc fundraising support, and shareholder information requests
- Generally help establish finance business partnering with operational teams to consistently drive performance
Skills
- Ideally you will be ACA Qualified
- Previous experience of working as a Finance Manager in a previous technology start up business would be preferred
- Ideally you will have relevant university degree with an excellent level of Excel and Powerpoint skills.
