This is the chance to join a high growth tech business as a Finance Manager in their City of London Office. This is a commercial focused role, with line management responsibilities, offering up to 55K salary with a comprehensive benefits package.

Founded in early 2000s, our client has grown rapidly and is now a key global player in the ride hailing app space, available in over 100 countries worldwide. Backed by one of the world's largest automotive business, they have continued to grow, driven by further fundraising midway through last year, and are looking to bring in a Finance Manager into their City of London office to further support their position.

Whilst a rapidly expanding business the finance function is still a smaller, close-knit team and as such this is a great role, within a strong, social environment that offers great scope for progression. Being a growing business there will also potentially be the scope to become more involved in further commercial and FP&A responsibilities as the role develops.

Description

The Role

This Finance Manager role will be both commercial and varied but will include the following key responsibilities:

  • Month End - Ownership of Month End close. Full preparation of Board Packs and Commentary.
  • Line Management - Mentoring and management of a small team.
  • FP&A - P&L/Cost/KPI/variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting. Other ad hoc analysis where required
  • Business Partnering & Commercial Support - Partnering closely with local and international business teams alongside ad hoc support for the Finance Director
  • Process & Control Improvements - maintaining and develop controls

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Strong Management Accounts Background
  • Good knowledge of IFRS
  • Highly Excel Proficient
  • Start up or tech background
  • Line management exposure
