Head of Financial Planning

The Head of Financial Planning & Support is a key role within the central development team. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the Group's long term business plans and take a lead on the preparation and delivery of the overall financial planning and analysis system.

Description

The Head of Financial Planning & Support will be responsible for:

• The Preparation of the Group's business plan, ensuring that it is reviewed regularly

• Ensure that the longer term financial forecasts are discussed with the leaders of the key businesses

• Develop new financial models to appraise projects

• Take overall control of the capital appraisal and monitoring tool

• Provide effective leadership for staff, ensuring focus on aims, objectives and values

• Ensure that the Group's financial forecasts are reviewed to take into account sensitivities to the key variables affecting the Group's finances

• Provide a professional business partnering service to the development team

Profile

The successful candidate for the Head of Financial Planning & Support will be:

• Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)

• Have some experience of financial appraisal and financial planning for a new business venture and/or major capital project including planning to improve profitability and customer service

• Advanced Excel and IT skills
• Able to offer a high standard of internal customer service and business partnering
• Comfortable reporting to and partnering with key senior stakeholders within the business

Job Offer

My client is offering a competitive salary of £60,000 - £65,000 with benefits.
