Our large client is looking to hire an ambitious, forward thinking Accounts Assistant that is keen to develop and progress within the organisation.
Client is a large, fast growing organisation with YOY growth! Well established brand within West Sussex.
Receive invoices from suppliers and process in line with our approval process and checking back to purchase orders.
Liaise with suppliers to request invoices, confirm payments and answer queries.
Match payments against suppliers and maintain clean purchase ledgers. This will include closing purchase ledgers within 3 working days of month end.
Perform supplier reconciliations for key accounts.
Monitor and maintain our purchase order system, ensuring all spend is authorised in line with purchase orders.
Preparing weekly payment runs for suppliers and charity partners.
Manage the Group's credit card system and import data into our accounting system
Import bank statements into accounting system.
Setting up bank transactions such as payments and transfers
You will have a good academic record, before moving into a finance role with at least 12 months experience. You will have demonstrable experience of purchase and sales ledgers, alongside cash and bank. Ideally you will have achieved a recognised finance qualification such as an AAT.
