ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT (PERM) HAYES £28,000 - £35,000pa

Wade Macdonald are delighted to be partnering with a fabulous client based in Hayes, Middlesex. Our client is keen to bring on-board an Assistant Accountant, who is currently studying for the final stages of their CIMA or ACCA. Their offices are bright, vibrant and offer regular and convenient transport links, as well as ample parking on site.
The role
This role will be working within a large-scale financial accounts team, reporting into the Senior Financial Accounts Manager. Duties will include:

The role
This role will be working within a large-scale financial accounts team, reporting into the Senior Financial Accounts Manager. Duties will include:
- End-to-end processing of UK and International accounts
- Assist with Audits
- Processing general ledger
- Month end
- Journal posting and reconciliations
- Intercompany recharges
- Management of inventory
- Assisting with other ad-hoc duties as required.
What you'll need to be successful
- Excellent Academics, 2:1 Degree in Finance & Accounting or similar, as well as strong A Levels
- Experience of stocks and inventory
- Experience of US GAAP
- Experience of internal and SOX controls
- Advanced Excel skills and a proficiency of SAP and/or Oracle systems
- Experience of working in Manufacturing, FMCG or Retail
- Experience of dealing with high-volume data inputs
