Assistant Accountant

I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join an impressive business in Deeside. Working closely with an experienced finance team you will be joining this business at an excellent time and in a very hands-on, newly-created role!

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Management of Expenses
* Run on line banking/cash allocation/bank reconciliations
* Analysis of overhead spend
* Accruals and prepayments
* Fixed asset reconciliation and management
* Understanding of VAT and Intrastat procedures
* Intercompany Reconciliations
* Intercompany Recharges
* Production of Weekly KPI's
* Analysis of Origination and transport spend
* Maintain spreadsheets on statistical information
* Any other duties as required to assist the Financial Controller

Qualifications & Experience:

* AAT qualified, CIMA/ACCA Part-qualified
* Demonstrable experience in a previous similar role
* Team player
* Flexible in approach
