Assistant Accountant in North Nottinghamshire paying £26,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
What you'll need to succeed
You will already hold an accountancy background and be part qualified in (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) or level 4 AAT qualified. Have experience daily in using Excel (VlookUps and Pivot Tables). A background with SAP is desirable. You will be confident and have good interpersonal skills. Manufacturing experience is preferred but is not essential.

You will receive a competitive salary between £26,000 - £28,000 depending on experience. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. There is parking on site. 8.30 - 4.30 pm Monday to Friday with a half hour lunch. You will not receive financial study support but they will support you in terms of time off for studying and exams.

- Metric reporting
- Assisting with month end close tasks
- Expenses
- Billing
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Upload manual payments
- Fixed assets
- Manage VAT queries
- Analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
What you'll need to succeed
You will already hold an accountancy background and be part qualified in (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) or level 4 AAT qualified. Have experience daily in using Excel (VlookUps and Pivot Tables). A background with SAP is desirable. You will be confident and have good interpersonal skills. Manufacturing experience is preferred but is not essential.
You must:
- Know how to put a profile and loss account together
- Be able to produce balance sheet reconciliations (20-30 in detail because of internal audit)
- Not afraid to work alone at times
