Leading firm of Chartered Accountants seek an experienced Part Time Accountant in their Preston office
Your new firm
You will be joining a leading firm of Chartered Accountants who provide a range of expert financial and business advice services that enable organisations to grow and create wealth for their owners. They have multiple offices across the North West, and they are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their Accounts department team in Preston.
Your new role
As an Assistant Accountant you will be required to work with a variety of clients including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders with turnovers ranging from a few thousand through to the millions. Your role will see you liaise on a daily basis with clients, engaging with them via email and telephone as well as face to face. This part time Assistant Accountant job will involve preparing year-end accounts through to partner review ensuring all necessary documentation is provided, tax computations and may include some management accounts. The firm are looking for an individual to work this day for three days a week on a part time basis.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this accounts position you must have worked within an Accountancy Practice for at least a couple of years previously. You will have experience of preparing year end accounts and ideally be qualified, AAT qualified or qualified by experience. The firm strives themselves upon their client-focused approach, therefore you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work to deadlines, targets and be able to prioritise work. The firm need an experienced individual who will be able to work the role autonomously with little support.
