Your new role
The current finance workforce, due to an increase in business, has come under pressure and therefore need an Assistant Accountant to alleviate some of the strain and work closely with the current Financial Controller. Hays are supporting in the recruitment process of this fantastic BRAND NEW position. Some of the daily duties involved are:
* *Assist in the monthly management accounts*
* Complete supplier reconciliation
* Sales Ledger/Purchase Ledger duties
* Dealing with the cashflow reports
* Assisting with credit control
* Month end reporting
* Posting accruals & prepayments
* Assisting with Payroll
What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate you will be expected to have experience in a fast-paced, high volume company. Our client is looking for an all rounder who can assist in VARIOUS duties within the transactional finance team. It is essential to be part-qualified (ACCA or CIMA) or QBE is essential and there is a need for strong Excel skills. Some experience of managing staff in the past would be advantageous. A great attitude and clear desire to work hard will get you the role.
What you'll get in return
In return you'll receive a healthy £24,000-£27,000 per annum (28 days holiday) dependant on experience. There is on-site parking available to all staff.
