We are currently looking for experienced candidates, across a range of disciplines, to work as part of dynamic, diverse teams to deliver transformation projects. Role Description

These are challenging but fulfilling roles, where you will be required to operate as a key member of our team, playing a lead role in the delivery of business focused solutions to a wide range of Financial Services clients.

Successful candidates will be self-motivated, capable of working off their own initiative and have the ability to collaborate with colleagues in a dynamic team environment to assist with the delivery of project milestones. Candidates should have at least 2-5 years’ experience across finance, project management, consulting or other relevant disciplines.

Responsibilities:

Contingent on your area of expertise, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client and workstream operations, processes, and business objectives and utilise this knowledge on assignments/projects
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and an ability to work to strict internal deadlines
  • Solve business strategy problems, through the application of fact based analysis and provide recommendations to clients
  • Contribute to internal reporting requirements, project plans, project status reports, RAID logs, management updates and other reports as required
  • Manage large amounts of structured and unstructured data and transpose large quantities of data from one source/system to another
  • Work with Managers and Directors to identify potential business opportunities
  • Complete market, regulatory, competitor analysis and thought leadership pieces
  • Provide input and subject matter expertise to help deliver client focused solutions
  • Share knowledge with peers and help to nurture junior members of staff

  • Business Writing: Ability to distill large amounts of information into succinct messages that are communicated in an articulate and professional manner
  • Powerpoint Skills: Strong proficiency in structuring, developing and editing presentations
  • Strong analytical skills: Logical approach to the interpretation and assessment of data streams and the communication of summary information to the wider team/client
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team on multiple workstreams concurrently
  • Attitude: Good work ethic, proactive attitude to issue resolution, delivering excellence, managing deadlines and being comfortable working as part of a team
  • Business Acumen: Genuine passion for work and hunger to learn and grow, including interest and understanding of the Financial Services environment

Business Transformation and Strategic planning

  • Strategic frameworks
  • Financial modelling
  • Research (quantitative and qualitative) including industry/sectoral reviews and analysis

Operational excellence

  • Business process re-engineering/Lean Six Sigma
  • Target Operating Model (TOM) development and organisation structure reviews
  • Data Analytics (SQL, Teradata, Tableau, Python)

Programme and Project Management

  • Project management/PRINCE 2 project support (MS Project, Waterfall, Agile, SCRUM)
  • Business transformation and Change management
  • Stakeholder management, reporting and MI

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Third level degree, with a strong academic record (requirement)
  • Masters (desirable)
  • Professional Qualification desirable (e.g. CIMA, APA, QFA)
  • Relevant Certification (e.g. Lean, SCRUM, Prince2)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Operations, Strategy, Data or Change projects
  • Experience in delivering projects and or organisational change programmes (experience in a leading consulting house beneficial)
  • Comfortable working in a demanding environment and delivering results
