Interim Financial accountant required to support the Group FC of an established and growing business, managing the balance sheet and delivering process improvment in reporting and controls
Client Details
Medium sized Division of a Global Group
Description
6 month assignment;
- Providing accounting advice to the finance teams within the group, balancing the requirements of accounting standards with the commercial objectives of the business
- Ownership of the subsidiary statutory accounts process, including preparation of the accounts
- Input into the Group Annual Report and Interim Financial Report
- Ownership of accounting records for certain head office companies
- Provide support for the acquisition and integration process, with sole responsibility for acquisition accounting in respect of smaller acquisitions.
- Development of the recently implemented consolidation and reporting tool
- Monitoring the group cash position against overdraft limits
- Support for group tax manager & financial reporting manager as required
Profile
Qualified or QBE accountant with solid technical skills and year end close experience
