Our client is looking for a highly ambitious Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the organisation offering a lot of progression and career development.
Client Details
Our client is a market leading business based in Haywards Heath.
Description
To process invoices, using the relevant processes to ensure that costs are allocated to the
correct areas of the businesses in a timely fashion, to ensure that suppliers can be paid within their
payment terms.
- To act as the first point of contact for supplier, working with colleagues to
follow up as required.
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts with investigation and resolution of queries.
- Act as a discrepancy manager to resolve instances where price/quantity/goods between orders,
goods in notes and invoices do not match; liaising with procurement department where appropriate.
- Maintain well organised and accurate filing systems, to enable other members of the accounts team
to locate and resolve queries that arise after original invoice processed.
