Page Personnel are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join a well established business based in Staffordshire.
Client Details
A well known business, market leaders in their chosen field, are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their team.
Description
As an Assistant Accountant, you will report into the Finance Manager, responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the finance function.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: assist with monthly accounts production; processing journals; banking; balance sheet reconciliations; assist with budgeting and forecasting; maintaining fixed assets; ad hoc reporting.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA - or have equivalent experience - Essential
- Have recent knowledge of working in a month end finance role - Essential
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
