Our client is a leading Communications Agency, who with a growing international presence, are looking for a PR/Communications Agency Finance Manager to join their expanding accountancy team. The role is located in the West End of London.
Description
Located in London's West End, our client is looking for a PR/Communications Agency Finance Manager with responsibility for the following duties:
* Oversight of accurate data entry into Xero and Synergist, recording & balancing revenue and costs
* Checking the accuracy of the sales and purchase invoices in Synergist
* Processing supplier transactions to the bank
* Ensuring reconciliation of Xero with bank accounts, balance sheet reconciliations
* Prepare monthly management accounts
* Preparation of monthly cash flow
* Maintain accurate budget and forecasting models, entering and updating data
* Planning and monitoring budgets and forecasts
* Credit control & liaison with creditors and clients
* Providing budget information for projects as requested
* Management reporting - KPIs, Departmental profit reporting
* Management of credit cards and banking relationship
* Currency management
* VAT and PAYE preparations and submissions
* Reviewing and processing payroll and annual P11D information
* Communicating with external accountants regarding statutory accounts
* Supervision of accounts assistant who processes purchase invoices, sales invoices, payment runs, prepares bank
reconciliations, checks completeness of timesheet information, sends out weekly revenue and utilisation reports.
Profile
The successful candidate will be:
Part-qualified or Finalist Level ACCA or CIMA
Agency/Marketing/PR industry experience (in an accounting role) is strongly ESSENTIAL
2-3 years experience having done similar duties to those listed in the job spec
IDEALLY EXPERIENCE ON XERO
Agency/Marketing/PR industry experience (in an accounting role) is strongly ESSENTIAL
Job Offer
Salary of up to £40,000-£45,000
