We are UAE's largest short-term rental company with our head office in Dubai Internet City. We are searching for an experienced Accounting Manager who will help to manage the accounting department delivering efficiency and accuracy. The Accounting Manager must supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities whilst developing and implementing systems for collecting, analysing, verifying and reporting information.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monthly Profit and Loss Statement
Monthly Landlord Statement of Accounts
Quarterly Balance Sheet Statements
Quarterly Cash Flow Statements
Tourism Dirham Audit
Preparation of VAT submissions for the FTA
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee the key deliverables for the accounting department including:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
Accounts Receivable: Revenue recognition, Output VAT calculation, Channel Commissions, Outstanding payment monitoring, Bank Account Reconciliation, Invoice Preparation.
Accounts Payable: Supplier Payments, Input VAT calculation, Payroll and company utilities, Landlord Expense Payments (Utilities, Service Charges, Maintenance), Security Deposit Handling. - Managing the accounting department and provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective action. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles. Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Meet financial accounting objectives and provide recommendations to increase profit margins by identifying new sources of revenue or ways to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
