Now hiring for our Montego Bay Office: Financial Controller Contax360 BPO Solutions is seeking a talented, highly motivated individual to manage the financial well-being of the organization by providing financial projections and accounting services; preparing growth plans and directing staff. The Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring that the company operates efficiently and complies with applicable laws and company policies. The fiscal functions of the company will also be carried out in accordance with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the industry. KEY FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance/accounting team. Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/president and members of the executive management team through timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends. Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets and overseeing the preparation of all financial reports. Advising on long-term business and financial plans. Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders to maintain the profitability of the organization. Developing finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives. Developing organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion. Monitoring financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances. Updating job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Developing internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting. Performing risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments. Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting department budgets. Required Qualifications and Experience : A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. A Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred. A Professional Accounting designation is preferred such as ACCA, CFA, CPA or CMA. 10+ years of progressive experience in a senior financial managerial position.
