Associate Director, Capital Reporting - Group Regulatory Reporting (Sydney, Australia)
Join our Group Regulatory Reporting Capital team in Martin Place, Sydney (Australia) and contribute to the success of a range of high-profile reporting initiatives. Playing a pivotal role within a high performing team, you will be responsible for improving operational processes, advisory expertise and implementing regulatory reporting requirements within a regulatory capital context, communicating with a variety of stakeholders. As an Associate Director, you will play a key role in managing overall capital reporting function, including various prudential and internal reporting, advising the capital impact of transactions, as well as using your strong commercial acumen to partner with the Business and Group Treasury, to provide insights to support key strategic decisions. You will use your strong interpretation skills of reporting requirements and attention to detail to ensure adherence to the Regulatory Reporting control environment. In addition, you will be involved in the implementation of process improvement initiatives across processes and systems.
You will have a strong analytical mind and an ability to understand and succinctly explain complex data. You will also be required to maintain a high degree of stakeholder management and with well-developed influencing skills. A solid background in regulatory reporting is essential and experience with capital management would be highly regarded. You will have exceptional attention to detail but with capacity to appreciate the "big picture" and a demonstrated and consistent history of delivering in dynamic environments.
You will bring knowledge of, and have a genuine interest in capital reporting, and be highly motivated and organised with strong interpersonal skills. You will have an Accounting or Finance degree (or similar) as well as being a Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with at least 10+ years post qualified experience is a requirement. Demonstrated experience in financial services or investment banking with previous exposure to Regulatory Capital Reporting is required to be considered for this opportunity. Experience managing and developing staff will also be required. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills across a variety of different audiences and be comfortable with adapting to change regularly.
