This Assistant Management Accountant contract role is for a period of 9-12 months initially and with the possibility of developing into a permanent position with strong performance due to the company's strong growth and current diversification into new markets. With free parking onsite they are wanting someone with good experience keen to fine tune their management accounting skills

The client are a growing and locally established PR Advertising and PR firm in the media sector who pride themselves on their great customer service. Based in Milton Keynes they have free parking onsite and their reputation locally is key for their success which they are keen for an Assistant Management Accountant to come in and continue. Reporting into an experienced financial management team there will be a lot to get your teeth into and they are happy to share the workload giving someone great exposure to month end Management accounting

Description

Assistant Management Accountant duties and responsibilities

  • Assist in producing detailed management accounts including Pnl and balance sheets
  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Variance analysis of sales vs budgets
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Journal postings
  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting

    • Profile

  • Relevant experience in a management accounting focused position or track record assisting on the above duties
  • Qualified by experience or Part qualified accountant ideally coming to the end of your AAT or progressing with ACCA/CIMA
  • Intermediate level of excel to include pivot table sand vlookups
  • Good communicator
  • Team player
  • Able to prioritise and show good time management
  • Someone keen to get involved and develop their skillset
  • Knowledge of the media, advertising and PR industry is beneficial but non essential
  • Available on no longer than 2 weeks notice period and free to start by the 4th February
