Description

This Cost Accountant will be expected to fulfil the following duties;

*Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labour.

*Full analysis of multiple income streams with in depth analysis of contracts and profit reporting's

*A high involvement (sometimes full management) of bids and tenders across the UK

*Full interpretation of month and year end accounts

*Budget and forecasting

*Month meetings to report on variance to budget

*Finance project management

*Manage a new accountancy system implementation

*Work with high volumes of data using excel and interpret this for director level reporting

Profile

The Cost Accountant role will require the following skills;

*Active studies within CIMA / ACCA / ACA

*Experience in building a cost model

*Advanced excel skills, VBA, VLOOKUPs, Pivots, IF Analysis - advanced data manipulation ability

*Full month and year end experience, ideally within a FMCG, Manufacturing, engineering type environment

*Confident personality to influence decisions and implement processes

*Happy to work within a fast pace environment and take on new challenging financial projects

The successful cost accountant will receive;

*Generous salary £25000 - £30000 (DOE)
