My client are a renowned organisation based in Gloucestershire. They offer excellent opportunities for progression within their large finance function and have an enviable working culture.
Description
The purpose of this role is to ensure that all Purchase invoices have the correct approval and are processed in an efficient and effective manner whilst giving excellent customer service. The role is responsible for answering and resolving telephone queries with Suppliers and internal customers, and assisting with month end tasks.
Core Responsibilities
- Telephone Customer Service with suppliers
- Distributing invoices and follow up invoice approvals
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries
- Assessing and interpreting data from database
- Logging incoming invoices
- checking, chasing and obtaining authorisation of invoices
- Petty Cash reconciliations and postings into SAP for all sites
- Data Entry
- General filing & housekeeping as required
- Assisting with month end tasks
- Working closely with all staff in the finance team and assisting with ad-hoc queries as they arise
Profile
Specific Knowledge Required:
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage, but is not essential as training would be given
- An interest in working as part of a busy finance team

This role will pay a basic salary of up to £22,000
