Accountant

\[As an Accountant, you will complete daily reconciliations, analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain the record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, or other financial activities within our educational organization.

\[Duties and Responsibilities:

• Document daily financial transactions into the ERP system

• Prepare voucher payments in accordance with internal policies and procedures

• Prepare the draft Management Accounts in accordance with accounting principles

• Analyse expenditure and provide insights to management on opportunities of effectiveness and efficiency

• Ensure all records are in keeping with local laws and regulations

• Ensure all accounting entries can be substantiated and audited by external auditors.

• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

• Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.

• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

• Secure financial information by completing database backups.

• Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
