POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Controller will supervise, monitor and control inventory stocks and other materials ensuring that he quantities are completed and properly accounted for.
Essential Functions:
1. Supervise, monitor and control inventory of stocks and other materials ensuring that the quantities are complete and properly accounted for.
2. Formulate and recommend enhancements to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the Inventory system.
3. Supervise and control the flow in and out of goods/items to and from the storage facility keeping records every transaction.
4. Regularly and periodically submit to higher management inventory reports, inventory data and other information as required by management and other units in the Company.
5. Install effective control over all forms and documents to and from the Storage facility.
6. Formulate, update and document inventory operation procedures and processes.
7. Provide and support management with data and information required for decision making.
8. Formulate and establish policies & procedures to ensure the quality, safety and completeness of the inventory.
9. Enhances professional growth and development by way of participating in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops.
10. Investigate Inventory related discrepancies and provide refinements and remedial actions to properly and accurately address issues and problems.
11. Identify operational gaps and recommend solutions.
