Senior Manager Regulatory Reporting

Aston Carter are currently partnering with a multinational Investment Banking leader in the search for a Regulatory Reporting specialist looking to return to Australia from abroad.
The Senior Manager Regulatory Reporting has been created with the focus on supporting the BAU Regulatory Reporting function, owning reporting deliverables, whilst also championing a number of key regulatory change initiatives within the business. Furthermore, this individual will be tasked with driving process improvement across the entire reporting function and will be expected to pro-actively partner across the business to increase operational efficiency.

Job description:

• Delivery of Regulatory Reporting to relevant bodies, primarily APRA and ASIC.
• Pro-actively lead and engage with process improvement initiatives.
• Ownership of several accounting and regulatory standard change programs.
• Senior stakeholder engagement and business partnering.
• Regulatory reporting interpretation, change mapping & implementation ownership.
• Staff mentoring and development.

The business requires someone with a passion for managing regulatory reporting, regulator relationships and delivering a best in class environment across group reporting.
To be successful in the role you will;

• Be qualified in either CA/CPA/CFA
• Have 5+ years of Accounting experience, ideally in a Regulatory Reporting capacity
• Have advanced excel skills
• Sound communication skills
• Proven experience pro-actively driving process improvement
• Staff mentoring or team management preferable
