Aston Carter are partnering closely with a leading Finance and Investment Institution in the search for a keen and eager Big 4 mover or up and coming Product Controller. The role will sit within their Finance and Treasury function. The role has been created to further strengthen the Product Control and Valuations function across APAC after a period of significant growth. It will provide the successful candidate with the ability to provide insightful analysis and insights to drive trading strategy and ownership over product pricing and valuations. You will assist in other aspects such as P&L production, trading strategy design and continuous process improvement. This role is a highly insights and analytics driven role, vastly different from most Product Control roles on the market.

Ideally you will have:
- In-depth understanding of Financial Markets Products from either an Audit or a Financial/Product Control perpsective.
- Product Control and Valuations experience for a large domestic or multinational financial services group,
- Strong Excel experience and analysis skills to draw insights and trends from the data (including VBA & SQL queries)
- A keen eagerness to partner with senior stakeholders across trading, finance, treasury, clearing, risk, compliance & IT functions to improve operating procedures.
- Degree qualified with additional post-graduate studies in CA, CPA or CFA.
